2012 marks Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee which commemorates 60 years on the throne. In celebration of the Diamond Jubilee several events have been planned throughout the year. This however may be the most impressive. In preparation for the York Minster Rose Dinner, the 16,000 square foot interior of the York Minster Cathedral was covered in real grass. This is a great idea for a party.
