Mars Science Laboratory 'Curiosity'



The Mars Science Laboratory (MSL), known as Curiosity, is a NASA Mars rover scheduled to be launched from Florida during the period November 25 to December 18, 2011 and set to perform the first-ever precision landing on Mars. The Mars rover (MSL) will assess whether Mars ever was, or is still today, an environment able to support microbial life and to determine the planet’s habitability.The MSL has four objectives: To determine if life ever existed on Mars, to characterize the climate of Mars, to characterize the geology of Mars, and to prepare for human exploration
